What you’ll do

You will be part of a team primarily focused on modernizing our insurance back-office, a crucial part of our clients’ operations. More specifically, you will be working on SureCore, the solution in new technology that runs in a hybrid setup alongside our legendary back-office system Level. This allows us to move and improve parts of the functionality, domain-by-domain. You work closely with our Product Owners and Product Managers: they own the priorities, you make sure everyone knows exactly what we are building and why. You thrive on bridging legacy and modern systems, and you’re always eager to experiment, learn, and share your knowledge with the team.

What you’ll deliver

• Requirements and specifications a team can build from without a second round of questions.

• Process analysis: you map how things actually work today, name the inefficiencies, and propose something better.

• Ambiguity resolved before implementation starts. When requirements conflict, you surface it and get the decision made instead of passing it downstream.

• Traceability and impact analysis that hold up over time, so we can see what changed, why, and what it touches.”

Who you are

· You have solid experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role) in software for insurance or finance. 
· You are strong in requirements engineering: Elicitation, documentation, validation, and keeping everything traceable and consistent over time.
· You communicate clearly, ask sharp questions, and know how to facilitate workshops and align diverse stakeholders around one shared picture.
· You understand how digital products are built (APIs, integrations, data, constraints) and can translate between business language and technical reality.
· You are naturally curious, structured in your thinking, and you enjoy reducing ambiguity in messy problem spaces.
· You take a proactive, get-it-done approach and don’t hesitate to jump in where needed to remove obstacles and deliver results.
· You challenge the status-quo and always try to improve both existing as well as new processes.
· You consider AI as a natural extension of yourself, using it in your day-to-day work is your second nature.

· You can, have a business conversation in Dutch and are able to read Dutch information.

You know insurance from the inside: policy, claims and premium processes, and the business rules behind them. Non-life is where we work. Coming from life, pensions or another regulated domain is fine if you can show how fast you close that gap.

Additional experience that is a plus
· Knowledge of insurance standards like AFD.
· Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD).
